The Deerfield section is very close to St. Barnabas Medical Center and borders Livingston, which makes it very convenient to shopping (both Short Hills Mall and the Livingston Mall) and is close to houses of worship, the Turtleback Zoo and Arena, and the South Mountain Reservation.
